May Favourites

OoHey guys,

Since it's now June and i haven't written a monthly favoruites in forever! So i decided to do one today for you guys. It's a mix of beauty, fashion and random favourites! Enjoy!

First of all I have the Zoella beauty body lotion. I'm not going to lie I was a tad skeptical about this at first as I am not normally a fan of 'celebrity' endorsed products but seeing as Zoe is a fellow blogger I thought it would be best to support the blogging community and give it a try. It turns out I actually love this product, as a moisturiser it's not the best I have ever tried but it does the job and leaves me smelling very nice. I'm not going to do a full review of this as now that I have tried a few items from the range i am going to do one big blog post all about it!

I am also loving this Rimmel Nail Polish in the shade 'Peachella'. As the name suggests this is a peachy-pink shade and it's awesome! I only needed two coats to get a full finish and really I could have gotten away with just one. It stays on for a while and I keep finding myself reaching for it over and over again.
This Elizabeth Arden perfume has been my absolute go to throughout May. This is actually my Mums but I stole it from her as she wasn't using it! I like this because it isn't super sweet - it's perfect for the spring and summer as it is light and delicate but it does last as well which is good! It is described as containing elements of Lemon and Jasmine.
A couple of weeks ago my Mum and Dad went away on holiday and left me at home with the dogs and when they came back I was given these, watermelon tictacs! I have no idea why they don't sell these in England but they really should. These taste so good and I am obsessed!
As the warmer months are now upon us I find my makeup not lasting as long and it doesn't normally last long anyway! But I have found that this L'Oreal powder has been helping with that. It's a really nice powder and thankfully it doesn't change the tone of your skin when you apply it either. I use this in my t-zone which is where I tend to get the most oily.

I hope you have an amazing June

Product review: NYC blush

Ever since I discovered the brand NYC in Superdrug I have been loving their products and I continuously am wanting to try more. A few months ago I picked up the NYC cheek glow blush in the shade 649 Prospect Park Rose.

Estée Lauder part 2!!!

Hello guys,

A few days ago I posted a review of my Estée Lauder blush and today I am going to be carrying on this  blog post.

Today I am going to do the second part of this part. Enjoy!

Ok, so the second thing I got from Estée Lauder was this eyeshadow trio in the colour 'Beach metals'.

So far I am really enjoying the colours in this and i think the gold and cranberry tones make it perfect for winter. In this palette there is three colours. The first one is a very simple baby pink with a bit of gold, the only way I can't describe it is that it is pretty much the same colour as Naked Lunch by MAC. The second colour is a medium toned gold which looks so gorgeous on its own which I have done some days. Finally, the last colour is a very deep cranberry colour, ironically very similar to MACs cranberry.

Personally, I really love this and I have a feeling it will last me a long time as they are so pigmented I hardly need any on my brush which is great because the only shadows I've come across we're they are like that is the MAC ones. Although, even though I love that these eyeshadows are super duper shimmery, some people may not like this as I know that some people don't like to put shimmer through the crease, even thought I love it.

So that's it! I've enjoyed writing these reviews because I feel like I haven't done any in so long!

Thanks for reading  ❤

My first ever Estée Lauder products PART 1!

Hello everyone,

If you saw my post a few weeks ago I did a luxury beauty haul. In that haul I told you that I had purchased two things from Estée Lauder and truth be told I was so so excited to use them as I had never used anything from there before! (Mainly because of the not so nice price tag!)

I've been using them for a few weeks now and I thought I would do a review for you all as I haven't done one for quite a while.

Firstly, I got the Shimmer Blush in 08 peach passion

As the title says this blush is more peachy toned than pink but it does have a tiny bit of a pink in it. I really love this blush as it's perfect for a nice natural blush that's not too over the top. However I think I will get more use out of this in the summer because in the winter I like more pink blushes like MACs Dollymix but overall this is a lovely, well pigmented blush which I think will suit most skin tones.

I will post the review of my eyeshadow trio tommorow! So stay tuned for that

But for now thanks for reading!

I ❤ drugstore makeup

Hi everyone,

I have seen this tag around YouTube for a while and I thought I wanted to do it too! Even though I really love my high end makeup I do also like drugstore makeup because there are many good products which get overlooked by brands like MAC and Chanel.

1. What is your favorite drugstore makeup brand overall?

I think that my favourite drugstore brand is probably Revlon because everything I have from there I have loved and so far I can't say a bad thing about them. I especially love the lip butters and I really want to get my hands on some more.

2. What are your favorite face, cheek and lip products?

My favourite face product is probably the Bourjois healthy mix serum foundation because it is just really nice however the shade i have which is 51 is still a bit too dark for me so I have to blend it really well. My favourite cheek product is definitely the Topshop Creme blushes - I love these they are so well formulated, they last well and look beautiful. As for lips I would have to say that my favourite lip product is my Revlon lipgloss in kiss me coral.

3. Least favorite product?

My least favourite product was the Rimmel match perfection foundation. I know that so many people loved this but I just really don't like it. I think that it's too sheer and I quite like a bit of coverage- however I was impressed with the shade range as they did go quite pale!

4. What is the best makeup bargain?

Now everyone and their mums great auntie has tried this and it's the Collection lasting perfection concealer. I know that everyone loves this but it's just so amazing and for £4-5 that's amazing!

5. What is your favorite underdog product? (Something you love that often gets overlooked?)

For sure this is my Bourjois eyeshadow in 08 because its a perfect inner corner highlight.

6. A drugstore product that is overpriced?

Any drugstore mascara! I think that these are getting so expensive, especially when they don't last particularly long!

7. Show your best drugstore dupe(s)!!

I couldn't find anything in my collection that would be a good dupe - so If you know of any please let me know! :)

8. Drugstore product that isn't worth the hype?

I think that the matte Rimmel lipsticks in the Kate Moss range aren't worth the hype because I found that I didn't really like the formula and I also thought that they were quite drying! But maybe that's just me as some people really love these. But I do really like the normal lipsticks are amazing from that range!

So I think you can tell that I really enjoy making these types of blog posts so if you can think of any tags that I might like to do then please tell me!

As always thanks for reading and also I now have 21 followers! (Including google friend connect, google + and bloglovin!) I know that doesn't seem like a lot but it does to me and it makes me so happy that I know people want to read my blog so Thankyou so so much!

See you next time

The seven deadly sins of beauty tag

Hello everyone,

I have seen this video/blog post floating around for a while now and I thought I would give it a go! So here I am on a Thursday evening writing a blog post when I should probably be revising for my maths exam.......

Anyway here is the 7 deadly sins of beauty tag!

 1. GREED: What is your most inexpensive beauty item? What is your most expensive?
First of all my most inexpensive beauty item is my MUA matte lipstick in the shade 'Peachy keen'. I only got this a few weeks ago and haven't really used it but it is a really nice lipstick as it was only £1. But my most expensive beauty item is my YSL le teinte touché éclat foundation which if you have read my blog before you may know that I absolutely love this foundation even though it was £29! (It is worth it though honest!).

2. WRATH: What beauty products do you have a love/hate relationship with? What product has been the hardest to get?
I think the product that I have a love/hate relationship with is my Rimmel Stay matte powder because even though i love the product, the packaging just isn't great and isn't very durable. The product which has been hardest to get was probably my Mac palette purely because it took me 10 months to fill it!

3. GLUTTONY: What is your most delicious beauty product?
For this I would have to say my mac lipsticks as they smell sooooo good and feel really nice aswell.

4. SLOTH: What beauty product do you neglect, due to laziness?
I really don't know what to put for this so i'm going to say the Bobbi Brown shimmer brick highlighter. Only because when i'm in a rush i always forget about it.

5. PRIDE: What beauty product gives you the most self-confidence?
Apart from foundation, I think that a good concealer really makes me feel confident especially the collection 2000 lasting perfection concealer as when i feel like my skin looks good it makes me feel a little bit better about myself.

6. LUST: What attributes do you find most attractive in the opposite sex?
I really like it when a boy smells nice (obviously) i just find it really nice. I also like it when a boy is well groomed but quite rugged aswell cough*HARRY STYLES*cough.

7.ENVY: What items would you most like to receive as a gift?
I would like to receive some more NARS products as i really love my laguna bronzer and i would love to try out some more of their products. I also would like a chanel perfume as they are so nice.

And that's it!

i hope you enjoyed this and i'll see you later

Little mix collection for collection NOT 2000!

Hello everyone,

So the other day I popped into super drug and I saw the new Little Mix range for collection and I can honestly say its beautiful and I am definitely going to be buying lots of it! I love little mix so much, I even cried when they won The X Factor because they were the first contestants that I had loved from the start that actually won! They're songs are catchy, I've also seen them live aswell. (For anyone wondering it was when I was invited to the X Factor live shows and it was the week that they sang ET by Katy Perry). I was even more excited when Perrie started to date Zayn from One Direction!!!

Anyway, for a while now I have been wanting to try a purple lipstick but I sort of wanted to try a drugstore one first instead of heading straight to mac and then realising that I didn't like it. The lipsticks by little mix were £2.99 which is so so cheap and cheerful I just couldn't leave them on the shelf. I picked up Perrie's lipstick and Jade's aswell which is a beautiful nude shade which I haven't really worn yet.

However, Perrie's purple lipstick is gorgeous! I apply it to the lips and then dab it in and they are so long lasting! The formula isn't extra special it's just nice and they don't dry my lips out which is great and I just love it!

I would definitely recommend going to try these out!

Thanks for reading❤

Another............Boots haul❤

Hi guys,

So if you have read my blog before then you may know that I have a slight addiction to Boots and I am actually waititing to hear if i have got the job I applied for which is also at Boots. I don't know what it is but I just love that store, I could happily spend hours in there without complaining.

Anyway, yesterday I was in Boots and on all makeup there was a buy one get one half price offer was on. Being me I took advantage of that and purchased a few things.

First of all I bought the Maybelline Gel eyeliner in intense black. I have been wanting to try this out for ages as I really want to start using gel eyeliner and this is meant to be a good dupe for the Bobbi Brown one.

The next thing I bought was Bourjois Bronzing primer. When this first came out I was quite skeptical for try it, however I've heard nothing but good things about this. Again, this is supposed to be a dupe for the Chanel Bronze universal or soleil de tan or whatever you like to call it. I'm quite excited to use this and also it smells delicious like I just want to eat it.

I also picked up another of the Rimmel Kate Moss lipsticks. Apart from the scent of these lipsticks I really like the formula. They aren't too drying and last a really long time. Zoe from Zoella has been raving about the shade 107 which is a deep red colour. I tried it in the shop and loved it so I'm hoping to get a lot of wear out of this!

The final thing I bought in my little trip was a product that I had never seen in Boots before and this is the Maybelline Brow drama sculpting brow drama in the shade 'dark brown'. I thought this would be good to give a try as I'm trying to incorporate eyebrows more into my everyday as I can never really be bothered to do them.

And that was everything I bought!

Thanks for reading and let me know if there are any products you would like me to try out!
